This morning on the bus ride we saw Tower of London, Tower bridge, The shard, a giant toy store, Harrods, Big Ben, the Parliament and more. The total time of the bus ride was 3 hours.
Then we had lunch. I had a crispy chicken sandwich. Then we went to Kensington palace and got to explore some of it. We learned a little about some of the royal family.
Then we went to a “very” and when I say “very” I mean very loud pub. I had a hot chocolate and a grilled cheese.

This morning we had breakfast at our hotel the headed off to ride the Big Bus tour. We traveled two routes, seeing many of the main sights in London, including Marble Arch, Big Ben (under tons of scaffolding until 2021), Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s cathedral, Tower Bridge, London Bridge and many others. One of my favorites was the Lady’s Bridge, built and designed by women during World War II. It was done ahead of schedule and under budget, plus they used a type of stone that cleans itself in the rain!
We ate lunch at Marks and Spencer then headed to Kensington Palace. We saw nice exhibitions on Queen Victoria and the fashion of Diana. Unfortunately, we didn’t see Wills, Kate, George, Charlotte or Louis. Guess they hadn’t heard we were coming! After that we had dinner at the Goat pub in Kensington then headed back to our hotel.
