This morning we got up at 8:00am to go up the Eiffel Tower we took the elevator to floor two and got a great view. Then I wanted to climb the stairs to the very top, but of course I couldn’t because the stairs were blocked off. Then we went down to the gift shop and I got a decent sized model of the Eiffel Tower.
Then we took a bus ride to Notre Dame which is a big church but it was smaller than Westminster Abbey and St. Paul’s cathedral. Then we went to St. Chappelle which is another church but with really nice stained glass windows. Then we went to Arc de Triomphe. It is a ginormous arch.

What an amazing day visiting iconic Paris sites! We did the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, St. Chappelle, Arc de Triomphe and a night cruise on the Seine in one day!! We got around today on the hop-on/hop-off buses, which saved our legs a wee bit. Dad says he’s going to sit in his chair for a week when we get home!
People have said that Paris is magical and it surely is, especially at night. These travelers are exhausted so tonight I will let the photos do most of the talking…
