This morning we got up early so I could use my iPad before breakfast. After breakfast we headed to the Louvre which is a museum below a cool glass pyramid. The Louvre is mostly an art museum but it has all sorts of art like sculptures and paintings and architecture and furniture. The Louvre has the real Mona Lisa!
Then we went to the Sacre Coeur church which only me and my mom went up the
stairs but I went up quadruple the amount of stairs than my mom went up. We were only there for about a half hour. Then we went home to relax.

For the record, we got up early to do laundry, but Luke wanted to use the time for his iPad. Other than the blog, he hasn’t been on it much this vacation. The Louvre was honestly very overwhelming. It would take a person at least two weeks if you wanted to really look at everything there. We had to see the Mona Lisa because, well, because it’s there. We saw some of the Egyptian art and Italian painters as well as medieval remains of the castle that once was there, but we barely scratched the surface.
After lunch at the Louvre, we headed to Monmartre and up the funicular to the Sacre-Coeur. (Well, Luke walked up the stairs. I walked down with him.) The church was beautiful, but the area was very crowded. We happened to be there for a wine festival with more than 200 food, wine and champagne vendors! Would have been nice on a girls trip, but not for Luke.
We decided to lay low this afternoon back at the flat until dinner, when we had an amazing meal at Le Pierrot. That quickly became a favorite of mine!
